For more than 60 years, women in Saudi Arabia were not allowed to drive. But Saudi women living abroad were already driving, confident behind the wheel. To empower women in the Kingdom in the day the ban was lifted, we invited Rawan Hamza, a Saudi woman living abroad to go back to her country like no woman had done before: driving.
She drove more than 800km in an INFINITI QX50, from the UAE to her hometown in Saudi Arabia, and became the first women to cross the border – driving.
